Spencer is a current policy coach and former policy debater at Edina High School, with six career bids and two TOC appearances. After two years at the University of Minnesota, he now debates for the University of Iowa. He has made outround appearances and earned speaker awards at a number of college policy tournaments including Texas, Gonzaga, ADA, and CEDA nationals. A K debater on the aff and neg, Spencer is particularly interested in thinking about Marxism, race, and transness. This will be his second year with NSD.
