Jayda debated for Dulles High School in Houston for four years, where she served as president of her team. Throughout her career, she amassed 7 bids to the TOC, qualified for TFA state twice and NSDA, and reached late elimination rounds at many tournaments such as Harvard, Stanford, Yale, Bellaire, and more. Jayda obtained numerous speaker awards, most notably Top Speaker at the Milo Cup, and she was invited to compete at the King Round Robin. She is experienced in both traditional and progressive debate, and she especially enjoys running women-centered frameworks. Jayda is also an NSD alumni, and she is excited to return this year as an instructor!
