Preston Lieu debated for four years on the national circuit for Meridian and PDA, amassing seven bids (5 gold) and qualifying to the TOC three times. Over the course of his career, he won Princeton and St. Andrews, reached semifinals at Harvard and Michigan, and reached quarterfinals at Columbia and Tradition. Most notably, he was ranked as high as fourth in the nation and first in Virginia. As the captain of Meridian since his freshman year and PDA since his junior year, Preston has experience in teaching all styles of debate, especially lay and flay debate.
