Derek debated four years for Canyon Crest in San Diego, amassing 10 career bids (6 gold). Derek was ranked as high as 6th in the nation, reached semis at La Costa Canyon, was top seed at Peach State, quartered Blake and won ASU. Derek is super excited to teach both lay and techy substance debate this summer, as well as help teams create unique case strategies for the season.
