Ben Kirsch served as captain of and debated at Hackley in New York for four years. He debated for two more in Policy debate at the University of Michigan. In high school, he qualified to the Tournament of Champions twice, amassed seven bids, and was ranked third in the country senior year. He won Apple Valley, semifinaled Blake and UK, and reached late outrounds at many others. He has taught at numerous debate camps, and has served as coach for Horace Mann and Mission San Jose, coaching teams to late out-rounds nationally and the semifinals of the TOC. He is excited to coach at NSD this summer!
