Nethra debated for 4 years at Dougherty Valley High School where she served as the President of her school's speech and debate club. Throughout her career, she accumulated 15 TOC bids, qualifying to both TOC and NSDA Nationals 3 times, and placed Top 16 in World Schools Debate at Nationals in her sophomore year. On the national circuit, her other notable achievements include winning Jack Howe and La Costa and semifinaling Berkeley Round Robin and Peninsula. She's also quarterfinaled Nano Nagle, James Logan, and Berkeley, and reached deep elims of ASU, Apple Valley, and more, amassing several speaker awards along the way. Nethra mainly specializes in substantive debate and has experience as a captain in teaching novice and varsity students. She's super excited to teach at NSD!
