Katherine has a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, and she currently serves as the Deputy Legislative Director for a New York State Assembly member. Katherine writes curriculum for NSD’s summer institutes, and she directs NSD’s online summer programs. As a debater, Katherine competed for Stuyvesant High School for four years. She was a semifinalist at the Glenbrooks tournament, and a quarterfinalist at the Harvard tournament. She qualified to the Tournament of Champions her senior year. Katherine has worked as a faculty member at NSD’s Flagship LD institute, and she has also served as a director for NSD’s Philadelphia session. In her work as a coach, she has coached top students across the country, and her students have reached deep elimination rounds at many of the top national circuit tournaments, including the New York City Invitational, Greenhill, Berkeley, and St. Marks.
