Daniel debated four years at Palo Alto High School, earning 5 bids to the Tournament of Champions and becoming the first team in his school’s history to qualify for Gold TOC. During his senior year, he maintained a perfect break record at all regular-season tournaments attended, including six bid tournaments. In addition, he reached finals at California States, reached semifinals at Milpitas, and championed Alta Silver Black. Daniel’s experience mainly lies in substance and lay debate, and he has a strong interest in foreign policy and economics. He is currently a freshman studying political science and urban planning at the University of Washington. Daniel currently coaches PF at Interlake High School, and is excited to work at NSD this summer!
