Adam debated at Cary Academy in North Carolina for 4 years, where he was a captain his senior year. He is now a rising college freshman and will be attending Duke University in the fall. Throughout his career, he earned 8 bids to the Tournament of Champions and finaled Laird Lewis, semifinaled and quarterfinaled Cavalier, and consecutively octafinaled Blue Key. Most notably, he was the first seed at NSDA Nationals, going 12-0 in prelim ballots. He also received numerous speaker awards, including fifth at Glenbrooks, second at John Lewis, fourth at Blake, 13th at Blue Key, and first at NC States. Over the past year, he has coached at Nova debate camp, helped mentor the PF novices on his school's team, and privately instructed teams from around the country. He lovesteaching lay and flay case writing, narrative building, and cross strategies, but also enjoys coming up with unique strategies for technical and progressive rounds. He can't wait to coach at NSD Texas this summer!
