Gavin debated for 3 years at Pembroke Pines Charter High School in South Florida across Public Forum and World Schools. Throughout his career, Gavin qualified to the Gold TOC (reaching elimination rounds at Emory, Sunvite, Nova Titan, and UKSO), reached quarterfinals of FFL Varsity States, and qualified to NSDA Nationals twice. Individually, Gavin top-spoke Nova Titan and received speaker awards at The Tradition, Emory, and Florida Blue Key. He specializes in traditional forms of debate and has developed a fond love for lay debate, but has ample experience debating against progressive argumentation.
