Ani Sukhija debated at Durham Academy in North Carolina for four years, serving as Public Forum team captain his senior year. He has earned 10 gold bids and qualified to the Gold TOC three times. Throughout his career, Ani championed the 2022 Yale University Invitational, the 2021 and 2023 Nova Southeastern University Invitationals, the 2021 Duke Invitational, the 2021 National Speech and Debate Season Opener hosted by UK, the 2021 Strake Jesuit Round Robin, the 2020 Isidore Newman Invitational, and the 2021 and 2022 NC State Championships. Ani also reached finals at the 2021 NDCA National Championship, semifinals at the 2022 and 2023 Barkley Forum hosted by Emory University, quarterfinals at the 47th Annual Harvard National Forensics Tournament, and received top 5 speaker awards at Princeton, Emory, Duke, and NDCAs. In addition to coaching debaters at Durham Academy, he instructed at NOVA Debate Camp last summer. Ani can’t wait to work with you all this summer at NSD!
