Vail Chen debated for Strake Jesuit for 4 years in LD. He qualified to TFA state three times and the TOC twice. In his career, he got to the bid round or beyond at Grapevine, Loyola, Blue Key, Minneapple, Greenhill, and UT. Vail's debate interests are primarily Kantian philosophy, theory, tricks, and a couple kritiks. Outside of debate, Vail likes to watch mixed martial arts, listen to music, and play with his cats.
